A Trip to China: a Chinese text with translation

This spring, my wife and I traveled to China for the first time.

Our flight was delayed by two hours, and it was already very late when we got to the hotel.

The next morning, we went to a very famous park.

There were lots of people in the park: some older people were dancing, and some were singing.

Then we went to the zoo and saw giant pandas.

The pandas were chubby and cute, and my wife took lots of pictures.

Chinese food is really delicious, and we went to a different restaurant every day.

One evening, we couldn't find our hotel.

A young man saw how worried we were and walked us a long way there.

Everyone we met was very friendly and happy to help tourists.

We also rode the high-speed train; it was fast and clean.

The trip lasted ten days in all. We spent quite a lot of money, but we were very happy with it.

Next year we want to go again.
