Last month I moved.

I used to live in the middle of the city; my place was very small, and the neighborhood wasn't great either.

Now I live in a new apartment complex close to a park, and it's very quiet.

My apartment is on the twelfth floor, and there's an elevator, so going up and down is very easy.

The apartment has two rooms and a very big bathroom.

On moving day, a few friends came to help, and we moved more than twenty boxes.

The fridge and the washing machine were especially hard to move; it took us over an hour.

When we were done, everyone was tired and hungry.

I treated everyone to a meal at a restaurant nearby.

The next day, I cleaned every room until it was spotless.

In the afternoon, the lady next door came over to visit and brought me some fruit.

She said that if I had any problems, I could come to her.

I really like my new home.
