Last summer, I found my first job at a company.

On my first day of work, I was afraid of being late, so I got up at six in the morning.

The company is fairly far from my home; it takes an hour by subway.

When I got to the office, the manager introduced me to everyone.

My coworkers were all very friendly, and the one sitting next to me even bought me a coffee.

In the morning we had a meeting. The manager talked a lot, and I only understood half of it.

In the afternoon the manager asked me to send an email to a client.

I worked hard on it for an hour, but in the end I sent the email to someone else!

I was really worried and didn't know what to do.

A coworker told me not to worry, and she helped me fix the problem.

When I left work that evening, I felt both tired and happy.

I've been working for half a year now, but I still remember that day.
